King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals announces student admission results five days prior to the deadline
King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals is the first university in the Kingdom to have announced the admission results for the academic year 1430-1431 making the announcement some five days prior to the deadline.
H.E. Dr. Khaled Al-Sultan, Rector of the University, mentioned the University’s admission policy which applies scientific criteria to ensure admissions of the most promising students. This year, the cutoff percentage score for admission was determined to be 83% comprising 20% for the secondary school certificate, 30% for the general capabilities test, and 50% for the collective test performances. As a result, 3500 students have been accepted. He further noted the University’s endeavor to attract outstanding students, and mentoring them to succeed and excel in their programs of study and research.
